To date our major achievements are:
Establishment of the Palliative Care Program
Establishment of the Cancer Registry.
Expansion of our National Cancer Education Program.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
To study the causes, distribution, symptomatology, pathology and
    associated factors with the genesis and spread of cancers.
To facilitate and where possible, provide facilities for the prevention
    and treatment of cancer.
To promote concepts of a health lifestyle and individual responsibility     for his/her family's health through cancer education.
To advance the knowledge, skills and practices of health and allied     health professionals in the field of cancer research, prevention and     control.
To address special priority issues related to cancer such as smoking,     self-examination and environment pollution.

PROJECTS
1. Observance of World No Tobacco Day - 31st May
2. Observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month - October
3. Collaborating with the Bureau of Health - Ministry of Health as the lead     agency to spearhead the education and awareness program on anti     smoking , targeting the youth.
